2025 Yellowknife Triathlon at Fred Henne Territorial Park

NEW FUN RUN OFFERINGS!

We are excited to announce a few new fun runs during this year’s triathlon! We have a 5km, 10km and half marathon route, starting at Fred Henne and running out the beautiful Ingraham Trail. Same place, same date, Fred Henne day use area on Aug 3rd 2025. Fees include post race BBQ at Fred Henne Day use area shelter.

  • 3 Course Marshalls
  • 2 BBQ Staff (cooks)
  • 3 water support (must have own boat, SUP)
  • 2 registration helpers
  • 2-4 aid station helpers (must have vehicle, for 70.3 distance)
  • Setup helpers

Swim on the beach by the boat launch.

COMPLETION OF THE SWIM IS NOT MANDATORY: For those that want to try out an open water triathlon, please note that this is a fun event, and you are not required to complete the swim if you are feeling apprehensive about the swim leg. Do as much or as little as you’d like and then continue with the bike leg.

Same day registrations ALLOWED, however we will only accept EXACT CASH ONLY and you will not be officially timed due to the need to have you set up prior to race day. Thank you for your understanding.
