The Yellowknife Multisport Club promotes fitness in our community through fun, family-oriented  events. We organize and promote running, cycling and multisport events. We encourage people of all fitness levels to join us, and we value participation over performance.  We’ll keep you up-to-date with events through this website, through our email newsletter, or find us on Facebook. Yellowknife to Hay River Ride

The Yellowknife Multisport Club is pleased to present the 7th annual YK2HR, May 29 to 31, 2015. It’s 500 kilometers of open road, three awesome days of spinning, two nights of camping, camaraderie, great food, fun and incredible wildlife sightings.  Please check www.yk2hr.com for details.

Highlights:

  • 500km of open road, 3 whole days of spinning, 2 nights camping, communal meals and camaraderie
  •  Trailer to transport your camping gear
  •  Five  fully supported rest stops per day plus lunch
  •  Two supported training rides; on May 17 and May 24, 2015, details TBA.

Frostbite 50

The Frostbite 50 is a 50 km, continuous foot or classic ski event on an ungroomed trail. Compete solo or as a team of up to five participants. There are 4 road-accessible check points along a well marked trail and racers are encouraged to have food, gear or support crew at checkpoints. This is an event, not a race. There is no prize for first place, we just want everyone to have fun and finish safely.
